But now that the five year moratorium on its chemical patent has been lifted there are new makers of generic versions of the drug. The most popular today is called Finpecia. This drug has the same dose, one pill a day. Generally there is no difference between the two pills.

Hair Systems

Also known as hairpieces or toupees. These techniques have come a long way and they are now specially crafted with real human hair to custom suit the needs of the owner. However, this switch from retail, to custom manufacturing as also raised the cost to some degree.

You have to keep in mind that hair systems do not last forever and you will have to replace them eventually.

Hair Transplants

The price is higher for a higher quality transplant. Do not be fooled by cheaper options because you'll end up looking like a Barbie doll head.
